Jaime Williams: My Undergraduate Achiever Scholarship!
Dec 10,2015
My name is Jaime Williams and I am going into my sophomore year at The University of Alabama. I grew up in a small town on the coast of New Jersey, relaxing at the beach, playing soccer and lacrosse, hanging out with my friends, and spending time with my family. Math and science have always come easy to me and I love to be creative and work with my hands. That is why I chose to major in engineering. I am currently studying Electrical Engineering with a concentration in computers, also known as ECE. I enjoy engineering because it challenges me and pushes me to always do my best. During my freshman year I joined Society of Women Engineers, the Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society, the University’s Honor’s College, and the women’s club soccer team. I also like to volunteer my time at the Tuscaloosa Metro Animal Shelter and I was able to get involved in a wonderful church that spends a lot of time helping the city of Tuscaloosa. I am extremely honored to receive The Undergraduate Achiever Scholarship from honorsociety.org. This award will be used to help pay for my tuition and will also motivate me to continue to achieve in school! Thanks again, honorsociety.org!
