I chose marketing because I want to be able to use the knowledge and skill developed there to help Christian churches and organizations better communicate to the world around them. I believe the best way to do this is through marketing because churches and organizations are trying to draw people into their services and events in order to obtain their primary purpose of sharing the gospel. I think that I can help modify and improve the current marketing strategies that churches use so that they can reach more people as well as be more effective. The main purpose of marketing is to identify and fill the specific needs of people, and then determine how to best shape and create products that help fill those needs. I believe that everyone has a need and deep desire for God and their faith and I want to help churches and other religious organizations better create and shape their ministry so they can help more people.
