Philosophy is my passion, and I aspire to attend graduate school at the University of Oregon with hopes of acceptance to their PhD program. My main philosophical interest of study is the metaphysical worldview of Madhyamaka Buddhism. While learning the basics of philosophy as an undergrad, nothing has impacted me as deeply as Nagarjuna and Chandrakirti's teachings in the madhyamakavatara. I have since taken to reading contemporary commentary on this ancient philosophy from scholars like Jay Garfield. Recently, I have been reading about yogic studies and plan on diving deeper into this philosophical view.
