About

I am a Sophomore at Worcester State University pursuing two Bachelor's Degrees as a double major in visual art and business administration with a concentration in the health care industry. Between classes I enjoy hiking to the summit of breath taking views, driving hours to find the right water hole, blazing new trails, and finding joy in each and every sunset. In relishing these experiences, I have been able to cultivate a dedicated opportunistic attitude complimented by realistic and responsible strategies. I can not wait to contribute these unique traits towards a career that allows me to use my dedication, energy, enthusiasm, and creativity to help those in need through the health care industry.

Goals and interests

Career goal

I am currently an Ambulatory Services Representative and I look forward to my future in the health care industry. I intend to graduate Worcester State University with a Bachelor's in Art and in Business Administration and then to obtain my Master's in health care industry. I contribute strong creativity, as well as scientific business strategies towards helping those who need care most in my career. Through betterment through higher education, I will be able to make a difference in the lives of those in need of health care.

Graduate school interests

Worcester State University offers a 4+ program for a Master's in management that I am very interested in looking into. I also have intent to pursue my Master's in the health care industry.

Outside the classroom

As I had mentioned previously, I am a passionate artist. I love illustration and painting, my favorite mediums being charcoal and soft pastel, I love getting my hands dirty. I also enjoy pyrography, painting, pen and ink, and prints. Whenever I go on an adventure, whether it be to Misquamicut Beach for a birthday bonfire, Becket Quarry on top of the 200 foot cliffs, or on top of a ridge watching clouds soar through us, I am prepared with sketch book in one hand and my pastels in the other.

I am not only a visual artist but also a freelance bongo musician. Many of my friends are talented and accomplished musicians. Whenever I attend a jam session I am smiling ear to ear the entire time and by the time it's over I can't feel my face or hear anything for that matter.

I live life to the fullest and admire the world around me. Appreciation is the key to happiness and there is so much in ones life to appreciate between friends, family, the sunshine on a clear day, and heat on a winter's night.
