Goals and interests
- Career goal
My intended career path is to become a Computational Linguistics researcher and consultant, leveraging advanced computational methods and linguistic analysis to solve practical challenges across multiple sectors such as cybersecurity, forensic linguistics, and cross-cultural business communication. I aspire to work in academia or industry, collaborating on interdisciplinary projects that promote innovative technology solutions and global understanding.
- Graduate school interests
My primary graduate school interests revolve around Computational Linguistics, particularly exploring artificial intelligence, computational humor, and sociocultural linguistics. I'm passionate about research that bridges technology and linguistics, improving communication technologies, and fostering cross-cultural collaboration and understanding.
- Outside the classroom
I'm a curious soul at heart, I love exploring new cultures, languages, and ideas that spark my imagination. I'm passionate about turning complex topics into beautiful, engaging PowerPoint presentations (yes, I’m that person who actually enjoys designing slides!). I find joy in hands-on creative projects that blend logic and aesthetics, whether it's crafting something with data or designing something visual. I also love shopping (therapeutic and strategic!), people-watching in new cities, and finding the hidden stories in everyday places. When I’m not knee-deep in research, you’ll find me sketching out ideas, learning Spanish for fun, or curating digital content just for the thrill of making something meaningful and beautiful.
