About

Hello, my name is Bawi Kil Dawt Nun Par. I came from a country called Myanmar. I am currently a senior at Alexander Hamilton High School. I intended on continuing my education at University of Milwaukee Wisconsin. My interests lies between Business and Law. I hope to use my knowledge, educations, and experiences to give back to my country and community. My biggest goal is to be able to revisit my home country to donate and exert my education to the community. I also aim to support and guide my parent as an adult. As a student, I believe that education is the key and precious. Not all kids, country, and state have people who have access to the education they need. Thus, I intended on continuing my educations for as long as I cam, preferably to PHD.

Goals and interests

Career goal

At the very moment, my biggest interest is to be able to give back to my community and country. However, my ideal job lies between becoming a business women or a lawyer. As a Business women, I want to use my effort and knowledge to give those in need of help from my best ability. As a lawyer, I want to help other reach freedom and give justices those who are wronged. As a lawyer, I also want to use my learning to use my voice to bring awareness. I want to use my voice to push those who misused their authority and privilege.

Graduate school interests

My attendance has been low throughout my high year due to personal issues that I encounter. However, throughout the year, I took honors and AP classes with an excellent standing grades. Around the same time, I managed my GPA of more than 2.5 while being part of the varsity volleyball team. Now that I learned to manage my time and priorities, I'll be able to invest my times on my educations and academics standings rather than letting my mind travel to my wants than my needs.

Outside the classroom

My hobbies are reading, playing sports specifically volleyball, and cleaning and cooking. All these hobbies had helped me to become a better person and students. During my volleyball year, I became more responsible, balance and mature. I learn to exert my stress and worries during volleyball practice. Hence, I became a better player all while I release my stress. With my teammate and couch around, I learned to build better a character and who other can trust and relied on. Cleaning and cooking helps me to realize the important of being responsible and mature. My sibling all attended college hence, focusing my home chores and school fixed me to become more balanced and dedicated as well. Lastly, reading is my go to hobbies when the rest are not solving my situation. Reading relax my mind and took me to a different place with a different me with a different life. Thus, I called it my escape.

Volunteering

  • Member - As a member of NHS, the main focus is volunteering. Due to my different schedule, I invested most of my time at the food pantry at Despensa De La Paz Food Pantry. However, our group volunteers are mostly located at downtown of Milwaukee where we help with cleaning or give a helping hand on events that took place. One of my favorite is our first fundraising. It was for Valentine. We made ornaments, candy, and arrangements selling them to student. With the money, we invested on NHS to gain more access and stronger.
