About

I embody an oxymoron that captures me as both a poet and a student at UC Denver with perfection - I am a first-year sophomore. I have so much yet to learn; as daunting as it is, I can be nothing but excited for the future dawning.

Education

  • University of Colorado - Denver

    English Writing

    2014 – 2017

  • Coxsackie-Athens High School

    2010 – 2014

Honors and awards

  • Horizon's I, II and III at Clarkson University

a preparatory camp to prepare young women for college, namely in the fields of science, mathematics and engineering. I was accepted to attend during the summers of 2009, 2010 and 2012.

  • NYS Scholarship for Academic Excellency

I held the third best regents grades in my graduating class; were I to attend a NYS school, I would have been awarded $2000. Though I have financial worries, I still decided to register at UC Denver.

  • Nominated to attend the American Auxiliary Legion's Girl's State

a camp aiming to teach young women about American government and governmental institutions around the world

  • AP Scholar Award

For receiving a score of 3 or more on at least 3 AP exams

Goals and interests

Career goal

In the long-term, I aspire to be an editor and, if the public will oblige, an established poet. I plan on earning a certificate to be a para-educator in New York State, but as for now, I am content being a student myself.
