About

I am a dedicated and hardworking student with a strong passion for learning and personal growth. Academically, I have maintained a 5.03 GPA, earned my AICE diploma, and rank in the top 4% of my class of 827 students, demonstrating my discipline and commitment to excellence. Outside of school, I give private haircuts at home, which has helped me develop patience, attention to detail, and strong communication skills. I am also the lead guitar player in a band, which has taught me creativity, teamwork, and perseverance. By balancing rigorous academics with hands-on work and music, I continue to grow as a well-rounded individual prepared to succeed in my future career in medicine and beyond.

Goals and interests

Career goal

My intended career path is to become an orthopedic surgeon. I plan to pursue this by first completing my undergraduate studies in biology while maintaining a strong academic record, which I have already demonstrated with my 5.03 GPA and rigorous coursework like the AICE and Health Foundation programs. I am gaining hands-on experience and preparing for the medical field through certifications such as CPR and EKG, as well as volunteering over 300 hours to develop patient care and teamwork skill

Graduate school interests

I am interested in attending medical school to earn my M.D. and specialize in orthopedic surgery. I want to continue building my medical knowledge and clinical skills while gaining hands-on experience in patient care. My focus will be on understanding musculoskeletal health, improving surgical techniques, and learning how to provide the best possible care to patients recovering from injuries or surgeries. Graduate school will allow me to combine my academic foundation, certifications, and volunteer experience to prepare for a career dedicated to helping others and making a meaningful impact in medicine.
