After receiving my Associates I landed a job in which left me with very little time to continue my education while also being there for my son as a single parent. Although the 3 years I spent in the Oilfield were great, I decided once I was laid-off that it was in the best interest of my child and myself to go back to school and pursue my intended degree in education and that is exactly what my plan is. My first semester back went exactly as planned and my focus was exactly where it needed to be. I plan to not change that throughout the 2 years I have left of school in order to allow myself the best job opportunity once I receive my Bachelors.
