Under my dual degree through the Benjamin Scholars Program at NC State with nuclear engineering and history, I intend to pursue professional nuclear research and reactor design. Delving into the study of both engineering design and humane application, I will be focusing on designing and implementing variably sized fission reactors that can operate with minimal maintenance for isolated communities. Should this prove fruitful, I will relocate my efforts to researching fusion and potential reactor designs to harness the process.

- Achieve a Master's in nuclear engineering (perhaps at NC State).
- Engage in the maximum availability of research opportunities, particularly in nuclear power production.
- Achieve a PhD in nuclear engineering.
