Goals and interests

Career goal

I am finishing my degree in Public Health to advance health care by bringing a humanistic approach back to our practices and advocating for the health of our communities and global populations in need.

Graduate school interests

My graduate school goals include gaining admittance into a Physician Assistant program. Being a Physician Assistant with a background in Public Health will give me a dynamic lens on what the future of health in our nation can hold, moving medicine into a more personalized, holistic, and preventive direction.

Outside the classroom

I love to cook listen to music and eat great food while enjoying the wonderful company of my family and friends. Growing up my father has always had this beautiful garden from which he picked the freshest ingredients to prepare our meals from. Waiting for the food to finish, we could sit outside, hear music playing from the park a few blocks away, and relax. Although being at home is nice, I am very fond of traveling! Experiencing different cultures and places is so fascinating to me. From hiking the mountains of Washington state, to swimming in the waterfalls of Thailand, I adore adventures and diversifying my life through many experiences.
