About
After 24 years of living in Aberdeen, Maryland I decided to take a leap of faith (across the Pacific Ocean) and move to Oahu, Hawaii. I am currently staying with my mother's first cousin in Honolulu. I am of Hawaiian descent on my mom's side of the family. I expect the next 3-5 years of my life to be filled with growth, happiness, laughter, challenge, adversity, and an abundance of sunshine. For basketball fans, think of when LeBron left Cleveland and took his talents to South Beach for 2 NBA Championships and 4 straight finals appearances. He used that time to develop, grow, mature as a leader, and learn what it takes to become successful without the comfort of familiarity. After 4 years he returned home to Cleveland, only to bring an NBA championship to the city the following year. Well, the North Shore of Oahu is my "South Beach". I am maturing as a leader and growing without the comfort of those that have been around me all the time during my first 24 years of life. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity where I can grow personally and professionally while honoring my mother's legacy. I have the privilege of providing high-quality health education and health coaching across the street from the small white church where my parents married. I feel I'll find a true sense of inner peace while in Hawaii, something that I have been searching for since 14 years of age.

- Graduate school interests
I am currently enrolled at Southeastern Oklahoma State University. I am studying to earn their AACSB accredited Master's in Business Administration. In addition to health and wellness, I have always had a curiosity with the business field. I felt it was time to develop the foundations in business so I can implement what I learn with my future health and wellness career endeavors.
After I graduate from SOSU in 2019, I plan to start my Doctorate of Health Science in Health Science and Exercise Leadership at California University of Pennsylvania. This will truly transform me from student to scholar and further my acumen in preparation for the positives to come in my lifetime.
