About
My name is Brandon Manciel Jr., and I am a Film and Media Studies major at Arizona State University with an expected graduation year of 2029. I am a first-generation college student and the first out of my siblings to graduate high school on time and continue on to college. Growing up, I lived in Detroit before moving to Arizona, and those experiences helped shape my perspective and work ethic.
I have always been passionate about storytelling, music, fashion, and creativity. My long-term goal is to become a successful film director, creating movies that entertain people while inspiring them to see the world differently. I am especially interested in directing, screenwriting, cinematography, post-production, visual effects, and animation. I enjoy bringing creative ideas to life and hope to use film as a way to connect with audiences and encourage others to pursue their own creative passions.

My career goal is to become a successful film director who creates meaningful and entertaining stories that inspire people. I am currently studying Film and Media Studies at Arizona State University, where I am building skills in directing, screenwriting, cinematography, post-production, visual effects, and animation. My goal is to gain experience through internships and creative projects before building a career in the film industry and bringing my own creative vision to audiences around the world.

My hobbies include filmmaking, directing, screenwriting, video editing, and watching movies to learn more about storytelling and cinematography. I also enjoy listening to music, keeping up with fashion, brainstorming creative ideas for films, and attending film-related events. These hobbies allow me to express my creativity while helping me build skills for my future career in the film industry.

I worked at Salad and Go from April 2025 to February 2026, where I gained valuable experience in customer service, teamwork, and working in a fast-paced environment. I decided to leave the position to focus on my education at Arizona State University, but I am actively pursuing new job opportunities that will allow me to continue developing my skills while balancing my academic goals.
