About
I am attending the University of Colorado Denver to receive a major in Law Enforcement and also a minor in Law Studies. I grew up mostly in Littleton, Colorado. I have six siblings and two parents who are my everyday inspiration to achieve my goals and dreams. My parents both immigrated to the United States from Mexico seeking the opportunity to create a better life for themselves. My father learned how to speak English and went into the real estate business, working with drywall and building houses. He was able to create his own company that started very successful which allowed him to raise me and family in a stable home. My mother is a very caring parent, she taught us to be respectful for the opportunities that we have that she couldn't have when she was a child. She worked hard also cleaning houses, and would take us to learn the importance of hard work. Later on my father opened an Mexican restaurant in Brighton, Colorado, were I currently work as both a server and as a cook. The opportunities my dad has given me were important lessons that in order to achieve the American Dream, you need to be able to be smart about business, about finances, about real estate. My father always wants to teach us to learn new responsibilities and roles we have in the family business because he knows that we can have a head start to acquire the skills of leadership, organization, and responsibility. I have desired to go into Law Enforcement since my senior year at high school. I wanted to be a part of public service and serve my community by protecting them and enforcing the law. I believe in the values of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, everyone of us is entitled to these goals in the United States. I desire to serve my role in public service to keep the peace and

Goals and interests
- Career goal
I want to find a law enforcement position at the federal level. I have received many tips and advice from my family and friends that the federal section of law enforcement will be beneficial to me and my career. I am interested to join the FBI, U.S. Marshalls, or the ATF. I feel that it is important to have the experience of being in the front line of law enforcement to understand the roles theses agencies have. I also plan to go to law school and become a prosecutor.
- Graduate school interests
After receiving my bachelor's in law enforcement and a minor in law, I would like to go to law school and study the law in a more in depth study of the law.
