Brandy Dumas

I was once a little girl with big dreams about changing the world and making it a better place for all. When I graduated from Western Governor’s University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interdisciplinary Studies K – 8th, my dreams began to come true.
I am encouraged each day by the smiles, enthusiasm, love of learning, and achievement I have witnessed in each of my students. Teaching is more than a passion – it is my life’s calling. I strive to help my students reach beyond their academic boundaries and realize their highest potential. I bring my best each day and I expect the best from all my students.
My teaching career began early when my first-grade teacher sent me to help my classmates and other first grade students. Through my many years as a tutor, a teacher at Remington college, the Director of the After-School program at Pak’s Karate Academy, and my rewarding student teaching experience, it has been a joy and a privilege to help my students reach their goals and achieve their dreams.
I am enthusiastic, creative, and love differentiating lessons through technology, hands on activities, and real world experiences that reach each student’s learning style and create an atmosphere where learning is fun.

I am looking forward to my first classroom and putting into practice all I have learned.
