Breann Bacot

I am a highly motivated, dedicated student pursuing a bachelor degree in environmental science. I have always loved being outside in nature and appreciating all of the ways in which the Earth helps living organisms to thrive. Since I became aware of climate change through the speeches of Greta Thunberg, it has become my personal goal to make an environmental difference. I am motivated to contribute to building a more sustainable future through earning a PhD in order to conduct scientific research. As climate change rapidly progresses, I believe that it is crucial to continue working on solutions. However, if climate change becomes irreversible, then it is of equal importance to find ways to supply communities with the resources they may need. Pursuing an education in environmental science is more than a degree to me, it is a passion.
