Brendan Groth

I am a recent graduate of SUNY Oswego where I studied business with a concentration in marketing. I have always been an energetic and creative individual and this is what drove me to pursue a career in marketing. I grew up in the town of Manlius, NY where I attended Fayetteville-Manlius High. There I played hockey and football and divulged into every exciting endeavor I could possibly grasp including art. In sports just as in life, opportunities are often seized by its players. However, its players will be unsuccessful unless supported by their surrounding cast. In hockey an assist means just as much as a goal; and in the same token you will never get past the line of scrimmage without a solid offensive line. Sports analogies aside, life is team game, you will never get where you are going without surrounding yourself with individuals who strive to achieve the same goals. As I look to begin my career in marketing my aspirations are to help individuals and companies grow their businesses so that they may too achieve their goals. Specifically within the discipline of marketing I have an affinity towards advertising and promotion as I believe my skill set is most suited for this type of work. However, opportunities come in all shapes and sizes; and I am excited about all of the opportunities that working within the realm of marketing can bring to my life.
