About
I am a working, married, mother of 2. My goal is to be a counselor and work with low income, drug or alcohol affected, or mentally ill adults and children.
I am 18 years sober and I love working with people who have struggled more than many of us. Having been addicted to drugs and alcohol I think I have a unique opportunity to work with that group of people
Goals and interests
- Career goal
Right now I am working with one of the Dr on campus with some of her research, I also work full time in cosmetology, as well as going to school. Not sure what my intended job path will be, but I am interested in anything that is related to psychology, counseling, human behavior, or healing past or present trauma.
- Graduate school interests
At this time I am looking at NSU for the counseling degree, after I complete my BA in psych. I am open to exploring other colleges, and other career paths.
