Briana Martin

I am currently a student at North Carolina Central University. I am a Business Administration major with a concentration in Finance. My career goal is to become a personal Financial advisor and with experience, become a budget analyst for a major corporation. My whole life, I have had a strong passion for Math. After taking the career test in high school, budget analyst was one of the many choices related to finance. That for me , was confirmation. I graduated Valedictorian from Christian Faith Center Academy. I also received awards for being top of my class in English, Math, Economics, and many more. I have received metals for being at the top of my class since 5th grade. I received the MBT award which is the award where the administration chooses the student that has shown outstanding character and leadership throughout high school. They analyze students and choose which one stands out and they chose me! I was very active in high school. I was a Teacher's Assistant and in addition, a tutor. I started working in high school at McDonalds. By my senior year, I was going to school everyday and working full time at McDonalds. Now, I work on campus at the Library in the School of Education building at North Carolina Central University. I also do community service every week at the Women's Center on campus. My goal is to complete 1000 community service hours before I graduate to make history at my school.
