About
I graduated high school with a 1.8 GPA. I have worked so hard to get to this point of being able to have over a 3.0 GPA, invited to join the honor society, and to be given academic awards at school. I have learned to study, be more focus and to manage time wisely to balance out my extra curricular activities, job, school as well as a social life. I think the next year is only going to be more successful for me. My first semester of college started off rocky, but I was able to pull it off and now I am getting to a point where this hard work is starting to pay off.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
After writing for a music blog for two years, I discovered that music and writing were both something I wanted to do. WIth that being said, I aspire to do two things: the first is writing for Rolling Stone magazine. I have always been captivated by their biography pieces. For example, I am a fan of Nirvana and whenever they release a new piece on any of the three members, I always find myself rereading those stories over and over again and I hope to one day write a story that will make one person think the same. The second thing I would like to do is start my own online music news shows. Besides interviewing artists and introducing new bands and songs, I would like to do an opinionated section based on what I believe will be the next thing to happen in the music world or the politics of the industry.
- Graduate school interests
Considering I have just finished my freshman year of college, I have not thought too much about grad school. I think I would want to attend maybe at Columbia or Northwestern but other than that, I don't know too much. I am considering only taking maybe two classes per semester though, perhaps online, so I can work full time in the journalism field while also working towards my masters.
