Brianne Hecker

I am currently an Accounting student at State University of New York at Oswego. I am studying to be an accountant for a private accounting firm. I grew up in West Edmeston, NY a small town where everyone knows everyone and the sense of community is very important and prominent. I took my first accounting class when I was a sophomore in high school, and that’s when I found my love for numbers. I continued taking business related classes throughout the remainder of my high school career. In my senior year I decided a career in accounting is what I wanted to pursue. I am now in my third year in college and I’m enjoying every minute of it. The business school at Oswego has encouraged my personal desire to while presenting me with great opportunities. I am a member of ENACTUS, formerly known as SIFE, which is a business oriented organization that focuses on helping local business within the community. I am also a member of Accounting Society and a participating member in the Biology club on campus.
