About

I’m a first-year general psychology major at the University of Nevada, Reno, driven by curiosity about how our personal stories influence mental health. Balancing rigorous online coursework in psychology and faith-based leadership with hands-on teamwork at Jack in the Box has taught me adaptability, clear communication, and creative problem-solving in high-pressure settings.

My passion lies in weaving narrative storytelling into evidence-based practice. I’m excited to collaborate on undergraduate research that lifts up underrepresented voices, and I enjoy troubleshooting technical barriers so every student can fully engage in learning.

As an honor society member, I look forward to:
- Engaging in research projects exploring cultural influences on well-being
- Organizing peer workshops on resilience, self-reflection, and structured coping strategies
- Connecting with faculty mentors to turn theory into community initiatives
- Writing articles or reflections for UNR’s psychology community

My core values are academic integrity, cultural empathy, and adaptive leadership. I can’t wait to bring my energy, curiosity, and collaborative spirit to honor society initiatives that turn adversity into advocacy and positive change.
