About

I am a dedicated professional and lifelong learner with a strong passion for leadership, service, and creating meaningful change in the lives of others. My career in behavioral health has given me the opportunity to lead teams, improve programs and processes, and help create environments where both clients and staff can feel supported, valued, and successful.

I believe effective leadership is rooted in compassion, accountability, adaptability, and a willingness to continually grow. I enjoy identifying opportunities for improvement, developing solutions, and bringing people together around a shared purpose. I am especially passionate about creating positive organizational cultures and helping others recognize their strengths and potential.

Alongside my professional career, I am continuing my education in Organizational Leadership to further develop my skills and expand the impact I can make in my career and community. I strive to approach every opportunity with integrity, determination, and a genuine desire to leave people and organizations better than I found them.

Goals and interests

Career goal

My intended career path is to continue advancing into organizational and operational leadership roles, particularly within behavioral health, healthcare, or human services. Through my current leadership experience, I have developed a strong interest in improving organizational culture, developing staff, strengthening operational processes, and creating systems that better support both employees and the people they serve.

As I continue my education in Organizational Leadership, my goal is to build upon my professional experience and prepare for progressively higher-level leadership opportunities. I am interested in pursuing positions such as Director of Operations, Program Director, Regional Director, or other senior leadership roles, with the long-term goal of moving into executive leadership.

Ultimately, I want a career where I can combine my experience in behavioral health with my education and leadership skills to influence organizational strategy, develop strong teams, improve systems, and create meaningful, sustainable change within an organization.

Graduate school interests

My graduate school interests center around organizational leadership, healthcare and behavioral health administration, and organizational development. I am interested in continuing to strengthen my knowledge of strategic leadership, organizational culture, change management, employee development, and effective business operations.

My professional experiences have made me especially interested in understanding how strong leadership and well-designed systems can improve both employee experiences and the quality of services an organization provides. At the graduate level, I hope to further develop the skills needed to lead complex organizations, manage organizational change, develop high-performing teams, and make informed strategic decisions.

Ultimately, I am interested in a graduate program that will complement my professional experience and prepare me for senior and executive leadership opportunities within behavioral health, healthcare, human services, or other mission-driven organizations.

Outside the classroom

Outside of work and school, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling and experiencing new places, attending sporting events, and finding opportunities to relax and have fun with the people closest to me. I also genuinely enjoy learning, personal development, and finding creative ways to organize, plan, and improve things. Balancing my professional and academic goals with meaningful time with family and friends is very important to me.
