Goals and interests

Career goal

At the moment, I plan to work as a special educator in the public school system. However, recent travel and contact with other future educators has caused me to think about broadening my career ideas and looking into policy planning for education in the United States and other countries.

Outside the classroom

As a college student, my hobby time is limited, but I make time for them as much as I can! I have played the flute since 2005 and continue to do so now. I took a break from band and orchestra here at my college for the entirety of my junior year so that I could focus on my grades, but I will be joining again this fall! Reading is my favorite hobby!!!!! I love to read just about anything and everything! I often stay up late at night to get a few more pages (or chapters) in before I sleep. I also enjoy baking delicious treats with my friends such as banana bread, holiday treats, etc. Other things that I enjoy doing with my friends include walking around town, watching a movie, and going for drives to new places!
