About

I am a dedicated social work student with a strong interest in mental health advocacy, health equity, and community support. Through my education and professional experiences in healthcare and behavioral health settings, I have developed a passion for helping individuals facing mental illness, trauma, and social barriers access the resources they need to live stable and meaningful lives. I am committed to promoting dignity, compassion, and equity in the communities I serve while continuing to grow academically and professionally in the field of social work.

Goals and interests

Career goal

My intended career path is to become a licensed social worker specializing in mental health. I hope to work with individuals experiencing mental illness, trauma, and behavioral health challenges, particularly those in underserved communities. My goal is to provide support, advocacy, and access to resources that improve quality of life and promote recovery. I am especially interested in working in behavioral health facilities, community mental health programs, or healthcare settings where I can help individuals navigate complex systems of care and build healthier, more stable lives.

Graduate school interests

I am interested in pursuing a Master of Social Work (MSW) after completing my undergraduate studies. Graduate education will allow me to deepen my clinical skills, expand my knowledge of mental health treatment and policy, and prepare for advanced licensure. My long-term goal is to become a licensed clinical social worker and work in mental health treatment, advocacy, and community-based care.
