About
I am currently an undergraduate student at Saint Cloud State University in Saint Cloud Minnesota. I am actively perusing a degree in Biomedical Science which I plan to build upon in graduate school toward a physical therapy degree. In addition to being a full time student at Saint Cloud I am also a NCAA Division Two Women's Softball athlete. Being a student athlete has been an amazing experience so far and I am excited to spend the duration of my eligibility representing my outstanding university in the classroom and on the softball field as a proud Saint Cloud State University Husky.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
I am currently studying to go on and become a physical therapist of sports medicine. I intend to work with injured student athletes or professional athletes and assist them on their road to recovery. Throughout my athletic career I have been blessed with amazing therapists who continue to help me overcome injury adversity and I long to assist other young athletes the same way I am still being helped today.
- Graduate school interests
Completing my undergraduate degree in Biomedical science will help on my path to being accepted into a school of kinesiology or a school of physical therapy for a masters or PhD program.
- Outside the classroom
I have always had a love for outdoor recreation and athletics, ever since I was a little girl. I have a passion for being an outdoors woman and I enjoy wild game hunting, fishing and cross country hiking during the summer and fall. I was also recently certified as a Wisconsin DNR Safety Instructor for ATV/Snowmobile and Hunter Safety courses. So I have taught a couple of safety courses this past year during my free time! In addition to being an outdoors woman I also enjoy being an active athlete. During high school I participated in three varsity sports every year including volleyball, basketball and softball. Now, I am a Division two Collegiate Softball player for St. Cloud State University. Besides just playing softball, I also enjoy coaching which I do during the summer months for my local youth program. Teaching the little girls to love softball the way I do is very rewarding and one of my favorite hobbies! A few of the other things I enjoy to do are go for runs, read novels and horseback riding.
