About

I graduated in 2015 with a Master of Science in Counseling and Psychology and recently returned to school to pursue another Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health. I joined the Honor Society after being invited and am excited to be part of a community that values growth and learning.

Outside of school, I run Empowerment Counseling, where I work as a Life Strategist Coach, helping people find clarity and direction in their lives. I’m passionate about personal development and hope to find a company that believes in investing in its people. Through networking and connecting with others, I look forward to both growing my business and expanding my professional opportunities.

Goals and interests

Career goal

I aspire to continue building my career in areas such as Career Counseling, Human Resources, and Talent Acquisition. With 14 years of experience in recruiting across diverse sectors—including Technology, Business, Finance, Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Healthcare—I bring a well-rounded understanding of organizational needs and workforce development.

In addition, I have experience facilitating DEI and corporate training initiatives, which has strengthened my passion for creating inclusive and growth-oriented workplaces. I am especially interested in opportunities that allow me to travel, as my past professional experiences in travel have been both rewarding and enriching. I look forward to contributing my skills to an organization that values professional development, inclusivity, and global engagement.

Graduate school interests

I am currently pursuing a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health at Capella University, and I truly enjoy the journey of expanding my knowledge and skills in this field. This program allows me to deepen my passion for counseling while preparing me to make a greater impact in supporting individuals’ mental health and personal growth.

Outside the classroom

I enjoy staying active through running, biking, swimming, and practicing martial arts, including Jiu Jitsu. I also love playing volleyball with friends and spending quality time socializing and exploring new experiences with my friends.
