About

I am currently a Kinesiology: Health and Physical Education student at Louisiana Tech University in Ruston, LA. I am studying to be a high school head softball coach and later on become a college softball coach. I grew up in a small, yet big, city called Texarkana, which is located in Arkansas. I grew up around sports, due to my older brother playing and my mom was my first coach at softball, which was her T-Ball team she coached. I fell in love with sports at a very young age of just three years old when I first started playing T-Ball. Then, I got into basketball around the age of 11 and played for my local Boys and Girls Club team. I played sports, was in athletics, throughout my junior high school years; played for my school's teams, such as the basketball and track team. Then in high school, I played and lettered in varsity tennis, played for the basketball team and lettered all 4 seasons on the varsity softball team. Sports has always been that key link for me, a great outlet. Sports is just as important to me as my education. I've helped assist a girls' basketball team at my old local Boys' and Girls' Club at home and I was an umpire at a local baseball park at home, as well.
