Honors and awards

  • Academic Excellence

I received an Academic Excellence Scholarship from Oklahoma State University for my strong academic performance and dedication to excellence. This award recognizes my hard work and commitment to success in my studies.

Goals and interests

Career goal

I am currently pursuing a degree in Construction Engineering, a field that aligns with my passion for building and project management. Through my studies, I am gaining a strong foundation in engineering principles, construction methods, and project management strategies that will prepare me for a successful career in the industry. My goal is to become a construction manager, field engineer, project superintendent, or project manager after college, where I can apply my knowledge to oversee projects, manage teams, and ensure the successful completion of construction developments. With my academic dedication and hands-on experience, I am committed to excelling in the field and making a lasting impact in the construction industry.

Graduate school interests

I am interested in attending Oklahoma State University for graduate school to further my education and advance my career in construction engineering and management. OSU’s strong academic programs, industry connections, and hands-on learning opportunities make it the ideal place to refine my skills and gain specialized knowledge. Earning a graduate degree from OSU will help me achieve my goal of becoming a successful construction manager, field engineer, or project superintendent.

Outside the classroom

In my free time, I enjoy watching and playing sports, as they keep me active and competitive. I also have a passion for hunting and fishing, which allow me to spend time outdoors and appreciate nature. Beyond that, I value quality time with my friends and family, whether it’s sharing a meal, enjoying outdoor activities, or simply catching up. These hobbies not only bring me enjoyment but also help me stay connected with the people and activities I love.

Volunteering

  • Through my church, I had the opportunity to volunteer and help clean up the boulevard in our town, contributing to a cleaner and more welcoming community. Alongside fellow church members, I participated in picking up litter, clearing debris, and ensuring the area looked well-maintained. This experience allowed me to give back to my community while also reinforcing the values of service, teamwork, and responsibility. Volunteering through my church not only helped improve the environment but also gave me a sense of fulfillment, knowing that our efforts made a positive impact on the town and those who live in it.
