About

My name is Brynn Boutwell. I attended Newton County High School in Newton, Mississippi, in which a maintained a 4.0. I graduated in 2019 towards the top of my class and went to Meridian Community College on a soccer scholarship and pursued an associates degree majoring in pharmacy. After my first semester at MCC, I switched my major to Education. I maintained a high GPA and was in PTK. After graduating with an associates degree, I decided to attend MSU- Meridian campus in order to stay at home. I am responsible for a lot at my house and I have many pets/stray animals that I am solely responsible for. When not in school or doing homework, I spend a lot of time tutoring elementary age students who need help in school and also working on my dad's cattle farm. I also spend time advocating for and tending to animals that are not fortunate and need help. I work to bring awareness to the amount of animals being euthanized each year in animal shelters. I have volunteered some at some animal shelters when not busy with my own.

Goals and interests

Career goal

I have not yet pinpointed exactly what my job path is. I am pursuing a bachelor's in BA and intend on getting my master's. My dream is to open my own no-kill animal shelter or foster center in order to pursue my passion of helping animals. If money allows, I could absolutely see myself running this sort of business in the future.

Outside the classroom

My main hobby that is also a lot of work is tending to all my animals. I also very much enjoy painting and drawing in my free time. Soccer is also a hobby of mine. Even though I do not play anymore, I work with my little cousins all of the time and enjoy watching them play.
