About

I am a nurse practitioner student looking for resources to help me advance to my future goals. I believe that hard work and dedication can provide the faith that I need in order to succeed. I know that with perseverance and a great attitude, I can achieve anything that I set my mind to. In the future, I see myself not only helping others but providing new pathways for improvements in the medical field. I want to make sure that my degree not only provides for me and my family but it opens doors to new opportunities for future nurses and students.

Goals and interests

Career goal

My intended job path is to work as a nurse while I finish up my degree. Then I want to pursue family nurse practitioner for a least a few years. I want to later on try palliative nurse practitioner because I believe that the right medical comfort is important to provide especially in the ends days.

Graduate school interests

My grad school interests includes joining the honor society and using the many resources to help me prepare for my future. I am also interested in donating my time to volunteer work in the medical field. I am interested in family nurse practitioner so I want to make sure that I use my time wisely when it comes to learning about all areas of family practice.

Outside the classroom

I love to mentor to others when I am not working. One of my favorite things to do is to take my mentees on outings that teach life lessons. For example, I may take them on a hiking trip so that they learn how to work together in order to make it back safe. I also love biking! I think that being outdoors with nature is important. Sometimes life can be a bit much so being outside and relieving some stress on a bike is important to me.
