About

My name is Caitlyn Lozano and I am a 5th year at UCSD. I spent two years competing as a DI athlete at CSUB and then transferred to finish my last two years of eligibility as a athlete for UCSD. I'm glad I did because not only was my experience as an athlete great but the curriculum that I am currently and have been receiving have been above my expectations. I am majoring in Psychology and double minoring in Educational Studies and Political Science. My dream is to reform education, improve teacher education and the relationship between teachers and their community, and maybe one day work for the UN in their education department. I am one of three kids and the eldest and I'll be the first in my immediate family to graduate from college. Dedication, commitment, and 100% are words and values that I know very well and in the next few years I'll be using these values just the same and hopefully inspire others to join me as well. I want to make a change and I don't want to sit around and wait for it to happen..
