Goals and interests

Career goal

Upon completion of my PhD, I intend to continue with my focus of academic research, in addition to applied or translational research. More specifically, my hopes are to develop a spin-off company that will address the need of mitigating aspects of the global antibiotic crisis by increasing the efficacy of drugs currently on the market.

Graduate school interests

Started graduate work in January 2020 at the University of Cambridge, UK. Key words for research focus: E. coli, antimicrobial resistance, antibiotic resistance, biofilms, persisters, indole signaling

Outside the classroom

Music (acoustic guitar), cooking and baking, reading, fishing, swimming, skiing, dirt bikes, skateboarding, traveling, health and nutrition, spending time with my 7 brothers and 2 sisters.
