About

I am a student at Miami University Ohio, majoring in early childhood education with a minor in coaching. I knew I wanted to be a teacher when I was in the first grade! Ever since then I have made it my duty to help others in need any way that I can. I continue to grow and plan to keep growing, learning and adapting. My passion to help people, especially children, is what drives me. I have a good sense of classroom management and I truly believe I can be the impact in the lives of students who needs it. As for coaching, well, I have a very strong passion for that as well. Both of my parents were star athletes growing up, my father was on the verge of the majors, they were both coaches, so you can say it's in my blood. I grew up playing competitive softball, traveling every weekend, and playing in an older age bracket than my own. I also played basketball until my senior year of high school and decided to follow my passion and focus on softball. Unfortunately an arm injury impacted the player that I was and I couldn't further my career beyond high school. My wish is to pass on my passion and knowledge through coaching.

My softball coaches picked me for this award because I gave 110% in everything I did and showed the most passion on and off the field.
