Goals and interests
- Career goal
Upon completing my PhD in Psychology, my intention is to serve in roles that allow me to create meaningful change at both the individual and community levels. I plan to work as a licensed psychologist providing direct therapeutic services to individuals and families, particularly within underserved and marginalized communities where access to quality mental health care is often limited. My goal is to specialize in trauma-informed care, behavioral health, and supportive interventions that promote healing, resilience, and long-term well-being.
Beyond clinical practice, I intend to contribute to the field through teaching, mentorship, and advocacy. I aspire to teach future students of psychology at the university level, sharing knowledge while encouraging culturally responsive, ethical, and compassionate approaches to care. I am also interested in participating in program development and community outreach initiatives that address mental health disparities and strengthen support systems for families.
Ultimately, my professional path will blend clinical service, education, and community engagement. I am committed to using my education not only to help individuals navigate life’s challenges, but also to influence systems of care in ways that promote dignity, access, and equity for all.
