Caroline Jorge

Hi there, my name is Caroline Jorge and I am 24. I was born in Des Moines, Iowa. I had to move around a lot due to my dad being in the Military. No, that does not mean I am a Military brat. I am actually a very laid back caring person. I am who I want to be in life, but I want to change the world in a powerful, positive way. I want people to know that I want them to succeed in life. I love seeing people reach their goals. My previous experiences have allowed me to gain knowledge in business management . I have managed at every job I have ever worked at. I started my first job when I was 16, I moved on up in the company and stayed at that job for 5 1/2 years so I guess you could say I’m a very committed person. I have also helped my friend start her business too. My current major is Business Management. In the future I want to open up my own business based only on positivity and helping others succeed in reaching their goals.
A positive experience I have had with a manager would be with my store manager when I was a sandwich artist. During this experience she was patient, she never let anyone feel as if they were uneducated, and she showed us the correct way to do the duties that were asked of us. One time I had a customer being extremely rude and another customer turned around and told him not to be rude to me because I was doing my job then he continued to be rude, I told him that by him speaking to me like that I am allowed to ask him to leave the store, then my store manager came up and asked what was going on so I explained to her what had happened and the other customer said he would've made him leave sooner than I did, so my manager proceeded to tell the customer to please leave the store. This was a positive experience because it let me know how to deal with any situation when dealing with a customer. The store manager has helped make me the person I am today.
