About
Hi! My name is Carol. I was born and raised in Minnesota and then made the trek out east for college. I studied English literature at Skidmore College in upstate New York where my love for writing and memoir blossomed but my passion for working with kids flourished. I learned by my third year of college that I wanted to be of service in some way throughout my life, so I decided to continue my education post-grad by getting a Master's degree in public health. I am a current graduate student at the University of Minnesota School of Public Health focusing on Maternal and Child Health. I have an interest in working with children with ACES as well as optimizing outcomes for children with incarcerated parents.
