Goals and interests
- Career goal
Ever since I started high school, I have always had aspirations in working in a health care environment. At first I had my mind set on being a doctor, specializing in women's health. When I started working on my bachelor's degree, I decided to get my certification for being a CNA. I figured that if I wanted to be a good doctor, I should understand how a hospital works from all aspects of the health care team. I learned how much I loved being with and taking care of patients. I saw how important nursing was in the betterment of patients and the heavy impact it had. During this time I also had to help take care of my grandma, who was experiencing health related issues. I saw how much the nurses would do and how some of the knowledge that I had gained helped her before she passed. With these ideas in mind, I changed my pathway to nursing. I have been working on getting accepted to nursing school, with the hopes of one day being a labor and delivery nurse.
- Outside the classroom
I enjoy trying new things and enjoy continuing long-lived passions. I am and will always be a reader. I enjoy a variety of genres. I enjoy exploring new worlds created through movies and television. I love nerding out about superheroes, jedi's, and fantasy realms. I may at times be spotted at comicbook conventions dressed as some of my favorite characters. I enjoy my version of running and working out. I have started to get into paddle-boarding and archery. I have also started getting into role playing, tabletop games in which I have to use problem solving abilities and communication skills.

Front desk and bagger
I worked the front counter and as a bagger in a family owned drycleaners. There I would have to use communication skills and customer service. I would also have to be organized and hard working. I was a youth group leader for my church. I was able to try and help teenage girls in a variety of ways through activities, lessons, service projects, and camp experiences. I was able to help them strengthen their relationship with a higher power. I was able to help them develop life skills and find a sense of self worth. I hope that I was able to help them spread a little goodness in the world.
