About
I am 18 yrs old and a student at Owensboro Community and Technical College. I am striving to get my associates in science, and I am studying business management. I am also wanting to go to cosmetology school as soon as I am finished at OCTC. Ever since I was a child I have dreamed of being a hairstylist, and that passion has only grown with time. So I will be pushing forward to fulfill my goals in becoming a cosmetologist. I hope to use my degree to help me withhold the position of salon manager in the future.

Positivity Award
My soccer coach presented this award as an award for someone that provided something that is very importamt for the team, which was positivity. I was very proud to recieve it because i really believe it is essental to bring positive energy to a team.

I recieved this award this past semester in Basic Public Speaking. I was hoping to get an award to do with speaking, but i was definitely still proud to recieve this one. It was voted by the class, and was for the peer that you felt was a good listener.
Goals and interests

Like I said I am very excited to become a cosmetologist. I am pursuing an associates degree, studying business management so I hope to become the salon manager. I have worked at Swank Salon as the receptionist for about 2 years now, and I am very close to the manager and owner whom also are eager for me to actually get to work there as a hairstylist and makeup artist.
- Graduate school interests
I am interested in getting my bachelors degree at the Western Kentucky University campus in Owensboro, Kentucky, which is close to home and work. I have met with an advisor at this school, and I am highly considering going here for a bachelor's in business administration.
- Outside the classroom
There are many things I like to do when I'm not having to study or work. First, I have to say I love simple things like listening to music and being crafty. I enjoy making floral arrangements for my house, and making them as gifts. I really enjoy going to Planet Fitness to workout on my days off, it is a great way to relieve stress and help me to stay healthy.
