With over 15 years of experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and Qualified Medication Aide (QMA), I have developed a deep understanding of patient care, clinical environments, and the importance of compassion in healthcare. Throughout my career, I have provided direct care to patients, assisted in medication management, and supported nursing staff, which has allowed me to develop a strong foundation in patient care and medical procedures.
Short-Term Goals:
Complete Registered Nurse (RN) program: I plan to enroll in and complete an accredited nursing program to earn my RN license. This will build upon my clinical knowledge and hands-on experience as a CNA/QMA and allow me to expand my scope of practice.
Gain experience in diverse healthcare settings: As an RN, I intend to work in a variety of healthcare settings such as hospitals, long-term care facilities, or outpatient clinics to broaden my experience and refine my clinical skills.
Long-Term Goals:
Specialize in a Nursing Field: I aspire to specialize in a field of nursing that aligns with my interests and expertise, such as geriatrics, hospice care, or oncology. My years of experience working closely with patients have made me particularly passionate about providing comprehensive care to vulnerable. I plan to continue my education and seek advanced certifications such as Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) to take on leadership roles in nursing and contribute to shaping healthcare delivery.
Through continued education, hands-on experience, and a passion for patient care, I am committed to progressing in the nursing field and making a positive impact on the lives of my patients.

I am also drawn to the prospect of contributing to healthcare policy, nursing administration, or clinical leadership. I aim to enhance my ability to influence healthcare systems, improve patient care standards, and lead nursing teams effectively. By earning an advanced nursing degree, I plan to transition from a role focused primarily on direct patient care to a position where I can have a broader influence on patient care delivery and healthcare systems. My goal is to leverage my experience as a CNA/QMA and develop my leadership, research, and clinical skills to drive change in healthcare practices, particularly in areas such as geriatrics, long-term care, or chronic disease management. Graduate school will be a critical step in transforming my passion for patient centered care into the ability to influence larger healthcare practices and contribute meaningfully to the nursing profession.

My hobbies include spending time outdoors through activities like camping, hiking, and fishing, where I enjoy connecting with nature. I have a passion for traveling and exploring new places, trying different foods, and experiencing diverse cultures. Additionally, I have an interest in fossils and astronomy, which allow me to appreciate both the history of the Earth and the vastness of the universe.
