About
I am pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Human Services with a concentration in Substance Abuse at Southern New Hampshire University. My educational journey began behind the walls of a Florida State Prison, where I earned my GED while serving my sentence. Shortly after my release, I enrolled in college with a determination to build a meaningful future and demonstrate that a person's past does not have to define their potential.
My goal is to combine my education with my lived experience to advocate for individuals affected by addiction and incarceration. I hope to help people successfully rebuild their lives, overcome barriers following release, and become stable, productive members of their communities. Ultimately, I want to contribute to programs and services that create genuine second chances and help reduce recidivism.
