About

As a freelance photographer and owner of a successful limited liability company, I have combined my creative passion with an entrepreneurial spirit. Through my photography, I have had the privilege of capturing cherished moments and creating lasting memories for clients. This experience has not only honed my artistic skills but also fostered my business acumen.

In my pursuit of academic excellence, I am currently working towards a degree in Business Administration, with plans to continue my education by obtaining a Master's in Business Administration (MBA) and a Doctorate in Organizational Behavior. These educational milestones reflect my unwavering commitment to personal growth, as I strive to gain a deeper understanding of the complex dynamics within organizations and their impact on individuals and teams.

Beyond my professional and academic endeavors, I embrace the role of a devoted mother to three incredible girls, one of whom has special needs. This experience has taught me resilience, patience, and the importance of advocating for the rights and needs of individuals with diverse abilities. As a special needs mom, I am keenly aware of the unique challenges faced by families like mine and the crucial support they require.

Furthermore, as a military spouse, I possess an unwavering dedication to giving back to the military community that has shaped my life. I am motivated by the profound admiration I hold for the men and women in uniform and their families. Witnessing the sacrifices they make, I am inspired to contribute positively to their well-being. Through various initiatives, such as volunteering, advocating for military families, and providing support to military spouses pursuing entrepreneurial endeavors, I actively strive to make a meaningful impact within this community.

By combining my entrepreneurial ventures, academic pursuits, nurturing role as a mother, and dedication to the military community, I am driven by a deep sense of purpose. With every accomplishment and experience, I am constantly evolving and preparing myself to be a catalyst for positive change in the business world and within the lives of those I serve.

Goals and interests

Career goal

With my intended career path of a Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior, MBA, and BA in Business Administration, I would deeply understand individual, group, and organizational dynamics. A career path with a Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior and an MBA can help organizations by providing deep insights into human behavior, data-driven decision-making, leadership development, organizational culture enhancement, change management, and conflict resolution. By leveraging my expertise, I can contribute to creating more efficient, productive, and engaged workplaces, ultimately driving organizational success.

Graduate school interests

My Grad school interests are to pursue an MBA and Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior.

Outside the classroom

In my spare time, I passionately pursue historic landscape and wildlife photography, capturing the beauty of nature during my travels and hikes. Through my lens, I strive to preserve the essence of remarkable places and share their stories with others. This creative outlet not only fuels my artistic expression but also instills in me a deep appreciation for the world around us.

Beyond my artistic pursuits, I am a dedicated advocate for military families. I actively engage in closed-door meetings with the House Armed Services Subcommittee, championing the rights of military families to improved housing, affordable living options, and access to vital healthcare resources. By tirelessly voicing their concerns, I have been instrumental in positively impacting the lives of over 50,000 military families with special medical needs.

Recognizing the importance of support systems, I coordinate impactful programs and events for military families and parents of children with special needs. Through strategic partnerships with organizations, I create opportunities for families to connect, share resources, and find solace in a community that understands their unique challenges.

In my commitment to giving back, I extend my assistance to military spouses embarking on entrepreneurial endeavors. By offering guidance in marketing strategies, facilitating business registration, and aiding in the creation of comprehensive business plans, I empower these spouses to turn their passions into successful ventures. Witnessing their growth and success is immensely fulfilling.

Moreover, I firmly believe in the power of continuous learning. In addition to my academic pursuits, I devote time outside of school to mastering German as a foreign language, embracing the richness of another culture. Furthermore, I am currently expanding my skill set by learning SQL coding for business analytics, understanding the importance of data-driven decision-making in today's dynamic business landscape.

Through my diverse range of hobbies and involvements, I am not only nurturing my personal growth but also actively contributing to the betterment of my community and the lives of others. I am driven by a strong sense of purpose, and I aspire to leverage these experiences and skills to make a lasting impact in my future endeavors
