About

I am currently a Chemical Engineering student at the University of Wisconsin- Madison in, well, Madison, WI. I graduated from the DC Everest Senior High School in Schofield, WI. Academically, I graduated from my high school with a 3.991 GPA, ranked 8th in my class, and with 9 AP classes and in turn 40 college credits under my belt. Extracurricular-wise, I participated in my high school's key club for three years, holding the office of president for the last. I was also an attorney on my school's mock trial team for two years, both of which the team made to state competition. My time was also spent as the senior class president, a title that tasked me with organizing the graduation ceremony as well as my class's five year reunion in 2019. After my first semester at UW Madison, I already had a total of 56 credits and a 3.95 GPA. In my first engineering course at the university, the design group I was part of designed a sustainable, easy to build, electrically-driven, wooden cart for use by small children with neuromuscular diseases in developing countries.

Goals and interests

Career goal

As of now, I plan on continuing my study of chemical engineering at the university. I plan on emphasizing on food engineering/production/genetic engineering of crops because I find the field to be incredibly interesting and important. However, I do have interests in biofuel production and biotechnology, so I find it safe to say that I have options open to me

Outside the classroom

Like many college men of my age, I enjoy video games and spending time with my friends. I love playing soccer with my friends as well, both outdoor and futsal, and we compete in intramural leagues on campus. One of my absolute favorite hobbies, however, is cooking and coming up with strange new recipes. I am also an avid cyclist when the weather permits. I try to go 15-20 miles a day on my bicycle.
