About
I have been a registered nurse since 1997 and a Family Nurse Practitioner since 2003. I am currently enrolled with UT Tyler in the PMHNP Program and have a completion date planned for December 2023. Psychiatric mental health is a very underserved area and I want to be able to help improve access to mental health services in my area.

I am a recipient of the NFLP Program and will continue to mentor nursing student in the future as a FNP and PMHNP.
Goals and interests
- Career goal
I plan to continue working in family practice, and also want to integrate psychiatric medicine into my day to day practice for those in need of my expertise.
- Graduate school interests
I will complete my PMHNP program in Decembere 2023. I have interest in continue my studies in the near future as a DNP.
- Outside the classroom
I love to fish with my husband and family.
