About
My name is Chanelle Kazamek and I am a senior at Mira Costa High School in Manhattan Beach ,California. I am interested in a career in international business in addition to pursuing my passion for women's rights activism by working with nonprofits worldwide. I am the Under-Secretary General of Technology for the MCHS Model United Nations, which I have been involved in for four years. In addition, I completed an internship helping to train and educate high school students on gender-based violence at Peace Over Violence, a nonprofit organization committed to ending violence against women. At the conclusion of my internship, I took the program to my community by forming the P.O.V. club at my high school. Here, our members help to spread awareness and engage in community outreach focussed on combatting violence against women.
