Hello, my name is Charis McLemore! Ever since I was little, I've always enjoyed learning! I can find the beauty in studying every subject, whether that be science or even music! In addition to my fascination in learning, my competitiveness is what drives me to excel. I strive to improve myself every day. I may not always receive the grade that I desire, but if I manage to do my best, I will develop character through perseverance. Grades are just letters. But character is what remains when everything else fails.

Goals and interests

Career goal: I'm hoping to become a financial planner! But I'm keeping my options open as to what might be a better fit for my lifestyle and personality.
Graduate school interests: Depending on what I accomplish when I receive my bachelor's degree, I may consider pursuing graduate school.
Outside the classroom: Hmm, let's see...I enjoy reading almost anything, from fantasy to personal finance to even philosphy! I absolutely love to sing! In fact, I'm currently singing as Alto 1 in my school choir! When I'm not singing in choir, I find relaxtion in playing my piano. I have written a few ballads on this piano, and when I have more disposable time in the summer, I plan to write a few more songs.
