About
My name is Parker Gammon, here are some things about me: I am a freshman at MS&T. During my first semester I founded The Playfields Project, an officially recognized student organization dedicated to designing and hosting competitive group games. I am leading a cutting edge Mixed Reality Experience project in the STAGE Entertainment Engineering Design Team. I got involved in the AI-Powered Humanoid Robot Research Team and did some work on teleoperation. I am a member of the Multi-Rotor Drone Team and have done some good work on the drone simulation as well as the hardware CAD designing side. I am a member of the Engineers WIthout Borders Ecuador Team, and have contributed to reports and documentation. I also play active roles in multiple clubs including game development, soccer, the maker space, aerial swing dance, and more. My work has been recognized through competitions, exhibitions, and awards. Most notably, over the summer, I was selected to exhibit my mixed reality game at Open Sauce 2025 (a tech convention in California). I also published a 45-minute documentary on AI safety where I interviewed experts in the field. Lastly, during the school year I participated in two online Hackathons.
