About
Hi, my name is Charlie Rice and I am currently a student at Reinhardt University in Waleska, Georgia. I am pursuing my BFA in Musical Theatre, but I also have an interest in instrumental performance and have been a brass player for almost twelve years. During my time at Reinhardt, I have volunteered much of my time to the School of Performing Arts with various workshops, performances, and tours, as well as co-founded a project to bring awareness the importance of maintaining one's mental health by organizing a day for students and faculty to come out and plant a garden outside of the counseling center on campus.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
I hope that once I graduate I can find work somewhere within the theatre community. I am interested in performance and directing and technical roles such as scene construction and costuming.
- Graduate school interests
I plan on going into a graduate program for acting once I have my BFA in Musical Theatre. I have considered a number of schools to pursue this at, but as of right now I am especially interested in the University of Washington's MFA Acting program.
- Outside the classroom
In addition to singing and acting, I am also an instrumental musician. I have been a brass player since I was about ten years old and my main instruments are trombone and euphonium, but I also play trumpet, French horn, tuba, and guitar as well. Outside of music, I am also a painter. I especially enjoy working with oils and gouache, though nowadays most of my work is digital.
