Goals and interests

Career goal

I want to return to college after I obtain my associates degree in Human Services and obtain a master's degree. I want to open up a large facility for women and children that have been a victim of domestic violence. I plan to have the office in front, behind the office I will be a full size kitchen, so women can learn to cook for themselves and their children. I did not know how to cook, and it left me still depending on my abuser to cook for our children until I received a sign from GOD; which I then turned to the Food Network and cooking channel to walk me through the process because I had no family or friends(due to my estranged abusive husband). I am a great cook, my children, neighbors, and those that know me are so surprised and very happy that I gained that part of being independent. I will have an apartments as well, having the women working in the kitchen if they are unemployed and they will receive a check for their services. On site day care(where the women will also be working). The goal is to provide women with the life skills needed to effectively become self sufficient and gain their independence, and be successful in life. I want the facility set up to where it is not a revolving door. When the women leave, they will not be coming back because the program was a success.

Outside the classroom

I enjoy reading, cooking, traveling, and learning new things everyday.
