Before UMSL, I attended Mineral Area College and received an Associate of Arts degree majoring in psychology, became certified in Mental Health First Aid, and was a member of Psi Beta. Goals and interests

Career goal

I am grateful that I was able to have a chance to go to college and enlighten my life with learning, and the ability to work in a profession that I have become very passionate about. Once I learned about the goals of the Social Work profession, I knew that was what I wanted to pursue. I have always been a very caring person and believe that if I can help only one person’s life to become better, then my career as a Social Worker will be worth it to me.

Graduate school interests

I plan on continuing my education at the University of Missouri St. Louis and completing my Master's in Social Work, and then becoming Licensed in Social Work.

Outside the classroom

I enjoy outdoor activities and spending time with my my family.
